Mad Max V8 Interceptor for Midtown Madness 2 Version 1A
=======================================================

Description:	This is a model of the Interceptor from
Mad Max 1. It has been designed from
scratch originally for Midtown Madness One
but I switched over to MM2 once ZModeler was
able to edit the files nicely!

The hardest part about this car was finding
any textures that could be used since it is
not a car I can pop out and photograph
nor are there many magazines with pictures.
This is especially true of the dash with which I
did the best that I could.

Bugs + Errors:

A wheel does protrude once the front falls off, although this is a
minor issue that would involve some major re-working so I'll leave
it. It is hardly noticable unless you are scanning around the car.

In the vehicle selection screen it doesn't look as good as it does
in thegame because of the odd lighting. Don't know how to fix this.

Distribution:

Feel free to re-distribute the original ZIP file on your website or
have the zip inside your own "wrapper". If you email me and ask I
will probably let you insert a message into my ZIP, but I would rather
keep track of this.

No warrenty is given or implied and use is at your own peril. I have

Below are the notes for the BETA releases which are no longer available.

Notes for Beta 3
----------------

This should be it almost finished, hopefully. It's taken way longer than
I wanted anyhow!

The only major thing I am working on still is the display of the
gears on the dash! Hopefully I can stop ZModeler crashing long enough to
get this done + tested.

Please tell me about any bugs you see.

Also, any suggestions on how to make it not look as ugly in the vehicle selection screen?

The car currently contains :

Model
Texture
Lights
Tuning
New Sounds (except for horn and reverse/forward gear change)
Breakable parts
Translucent windows
Black window colour scheme
Damage textures
Dashboard
3D misrepresentation of Max
Showcase / Description

The car needs :

Dash gear display

Notes for Beta 2
----------------

Because the car is black I find that it looks better with vehicle reflections off, though I expect this is personal preference.

I am aware of the line that appears around the front end of the car and I will re-model this soon!

I am aware that the back lights are too far into the car! I will change this minor issue the next time I reboot (I have to go into Millenium to use ZModeler and am in Windows 2000 now!)

I am aware that I need to re-texture under the front after the monza front breaks off.

The inside still needs modelling and I do not know wether or not to include a model of Max or just the seats / dash / wheel.

Still need to do:

The car currently contains :

Model
Texture
Lights
Tuning
New Sounds (except for horn and reverse/forward gear change)
Breakable parts
Translucent windows

The car needs:

Damage textures + window damage textures
dash
horn
better broken front textures
lights re-aligning
whatever additions/changes the beta throws up!
better tuning?
better textures?
better model?

Below is Release note for Beta 1
---------------------------------

Based on the car Max drove in Mad Max 1.

Unfortunatly I do not own a copy of Mad Max 1 and so the sounds have come from Mad Max 2 (The Road Warrior).

Thanks for all the people who I consulted will be included in the readme for the final release.

Please do not re-distribute this file or alter/copy any of the content of the car's files without first consulting me (debug@cmoo.com).

The car currently contains :

Model
Texture
Lights
Limited Damage Texture
Moderate Tuning + Bounding box
New Sounds (except for horn and reverse/forward gear change)

The car will hopefully include:

Horn sound
Pictures for the vehicle description screens
Better tuning
Wing mirrors
Dash
